About

Bo began studying classical piano when he was five years old, a process that culminated in his study with Pola Baytelman while attending Skidmore College. Along the way, he also spent time studying voice, guitar, cello, and a brief stint with the clarinet in 5th grade. After completing his BA from Skidmore, Bo moved on to New York City to begin graduate studies in music.

Bo’s music production career began while completing an MA in music at New York University. In recording studios in New York and Los Angeles, Bo worked as an engineer/mixer with artists including Santana, Joss Stone, Faith Hill, Anthony Hamilton, Korn, Nile Rogers, and many more.  Several of the projects Bo has worked on were nominated for Grammy Awards, as well as one Academy Award nominated song. In 2003, Bo engineered Norman Brown’s Grammy winning album “Just Chillin’”.

In 2011 Bo moved to Los Angeles, and shifted his attention almost entirely to composing. Recent projects include Fresh off The Boat, GLOW, Don't Trust the B$%^& in Apartment 23, Wet Hot American Summer, Felt, and numerous pilots and other musical projects.
